What's in a name?
The name Designier was born of Ruchika's own natural wordplay- a way of describing something as more artfully designed, in the same spirit as saying 'lovelier', 'classier' or 'homelier'.
As the idea developed, the French influence was not lost on Ruchika, evoking words like atelier, or espalier, and the name evolved its pronunciation to capture that essence - Design | ee | ay.
For Ruchika, Designier is more than a name- it's a guiding philosophy at the heart of her business. It epitomises the concept of 'more'.
